Second Life
Mood:  a-ok
Now Playing: High Blood Pressure (Jerry Lee Lewis)
Topic: Internet fun things

Well, Peter T. over in FELS is starting up a project in Second Life, and I've decided to join up and play along. It looks like fun, I'm always up for something that looks like a game. Only thing is that a really good internet connection is needed - and I can't play in the OU because of the firewall thingy ... but was able to sign up yesterday and do it before my computer came crashing down.

Anyway, hoping this is fun ... this is actually an initiative for looking for alternative educational 'places' for learning, because Peter T. is running the Schome initiative (School + Home).

I'm finally going thru your blogs for the year:) You know what i don't get about Second Life...why can't u enter as a begger...so many destitute people out there. I was watching a documentary a few weeks a back and there is this lady (just a housewife), who is like a billionaire...and the guys on Second Life were teaming up to throw her out...a huge scandal...anyways...she was saved (virtually), because of poor ethics or something like that:) I tell you men with all their logic still need a woman's intuition to get things done...and u might agree with them, but there is reason in our maddness:)
